There are a range of keyboard shot cuts to save you time when using your Mac. Here are some to get your started.


  1. Command-?Mac Help

  2. Command-ASelect All

  3. Command-CCopy

  4. Command-DDuplicates current item

  5. Command-EEjects selected volume, media, or server

  6. Command-FFind

  7. Command-HHide current application

  8. Command-IOpens Get Info dialog for selected item

  9. Command-JToggles View Options Open & Closed

  10. Command-KConnect to server

  11. Command-LCreates Alias for selected item

  12. Command-MMinimize a Finder-folder to Dock

  13. Command-Option-MSave as above but minimizes all open Finder-folders

  14. Command-NOpens up new Finder window

  15. Command-OOpens selected item

  16. Command-QQuits active application

  17. Command-VPaste

  18. Command-WCloses Finder-folder window

  19. Command-Option-WSame as above but closes all Finder-folders

  20. Command-XCut

  21. Command-ZUndo

  22. Command-DelMoves selected item to Trash

  23. Command-Shift-AOpens the applications folder

  24. Command-Shift-NCreates a new folder in the selected workspace

  25. Command-Shift-DelEmpty Trash

  26. Command-TabRotate through open applications and switch to highlighted app
