Absolute Beginners > The Menu Bar

The Menu Bar can be found along the top of your screen. It shows the menu for the application you are using. The name of the application which is currently active is always shown next to the Apple Menu icon.

To the right of the application menu you will find several other icons. These will be determined by what you have set up on your machine. Typically you will see the WiFi signal strength, your clock, a Bluetooth icon, your battery status and a speaker icon.
