Adding adverts to your site

Remember the old saying “Content is King”? If you get your content right you’ll build up an online following and climb those google search ranks. This will bring further traffic to your site. If this is the case why not make some money from all your hard work? You can use iWeb to insert Google Ads into your site, which when clicked will bring in revenue for you.

To add Google Ads to your site you need to:

1. 1.Click the Widgets button in the Media Browser.
   

2. 2. Drag the Google Adsense icon to your page.
   

3. 3.A dialogue box will pop up. If you already have a Google Adsense account , click I already have an account and sign in.
   

4. 4.If you don’t have an account then you need to upload your website to the Internet with adverts. Then sign up to a Google Adsense account. Google will look at your site and decide whether it is suitable for adverts. This is where it pays to make sure the content is there before you apply. When you are accepted you can then go back into iWeb and start adding adverts to your pages.
