Linking Pages
Once you insert a new page you will see it appear in the Site list on the left. In addition to this you will see the page has been added to the navigation menu at the top of each page on your website. As you add further pages they will be added to your navigation menu. Obviously this could become very cluttered if you intend on having a large number of pages on your web site.

To do this you need to:
-
1.Click the Inspector button in the bottom menu.
-
2.Click the Page inspector button

-
3.Deselect Include page in navigation menu.

The link will now be removed from the navigation menu. Now there is currently no way of getting to this page. Therefore we need to create a link on the home page. To do this:
-
1.Go to the home page (probably named Welcome)
-
2.Choose a place where you are going to put a text hyperlink.
-
3.Type About Us where you want the link to.
-
4.Highlight the text
-
5.If the Inspector window is not displayed then click the button.
-
6.Click the Link Inspector Button
-
7.Check Enable as hyperlink

-
8.Choose One of My Pages from the Link To drop down menu

-
9.Choose the page you want to link to from the Page menu

-
10.You can customise the look of the link by clicking the Format button. This menu allows you to customise the look and performance of the link. You can remove the underline and change the colour of the link in its different states. Normal is how the link will look before it is visited. Rollover is what happens to the link when you roll your cursor over. Visited is the colour of the link when you have visited a page and returned to the original page the link was on.

You can also create links using the Link Inspector to documents and other websites. In addition to creating text links you create image links in exactly the same way but instead of highlighting text in stage 4 just select the image you want to act as a link.
